In Isla del Jabalí fish catching is really varied and exuberant, though the most precious catch is the shark.The coast is formed by canto rodado beaches (in the part of Bahía San Blas) and of sand beaches with dunes in the South West. This beaches are ideal for anglig dogfishes, between September and December, also corvinas, Striped smooth-hound, whiting, sole, rays, forkbeard, and brazilian flathead.

Ría: you can angle for corvinas, whiting, Striped smooth-hound, burriqueta, bass, lisas and silver sides. When the tide grows, the ria is flooded and you can obtain abundant silver sides and during the low tide you can get sole . In the zone of the bridge that connect island with continent you can fish from the coast and also from the bridge.

Shark: there are 10 varieties of shark species like the cow fish, the sand tiger, the copper shark, hammer and large dogfishes. If you want to get larger units, you have to sail towards the Culebra Canal though you can also angle smaller sharks from the coast. The angling season is from December to May.

Coast: in its almost 30 kms of shore you can practice different angling modalities and styles. In Bahía San Blas the sea can be 15 meters deep only a few meters away from the coast. In the beaches near Resort Tiburón you can obtain dogfishes, (from September to December) and also corvinas, Striped smooth-hounds (units of 1,50 mts. and 7 kilos), rays, whiting, forkbeard and brazilian flatheads.
